Privacy Policy - Effective March 13th, 2022
Secure Student Pickup (SSP) is committed to customer privacy. We do not
share, disclose, sell, rent, or otherwise provide personal information
to other companies. All personal information is owned by the school and
regarded as private. We reserve the right to change this policy and will
post notification of the change on our web site prior to the effective
date of change.
SSP collects personal information (Name, Email, UserIDs, Phone, Address,
Other, Photo, Contacts, App Activity) so the app can function properly
and securely. This information is NEVER shared with third parties.
We automatically purge historical data from our system on an annual basis.
However, if you are no longer using SSP and would like to have your data
purged from our system before that time, please send a request to the
SSP Help Desk. Your
request will be verified with the account holder, then purged
from our system.
Location Information: SSP requires precise
GPS location from your mobile
device. This information enables SSP to determine your distance from the
front of the pickup line. Your precise location (
latitude,longitude) is never
stored in our database. We do store the distance (in meters) from the
front of the pickup line. WiFi and IP addresses received from your
device may be used to determine approximate location.
Security Information: SSP gives you the option to store your user name and
password on your device by a check box on the login screen. This
information is stored in an encrypted manner. If you do not wish to be responsible for this
information, do not use this feature. If this device is shared between
multiple people, it is recommended not to utilize this feature.
Custodial guardians are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality
and security of their user name and password.
